Ty Cynan Caravan and Camping is close to several beaches, including Llanbedrog and its colourful beach huts within 10 minutes’ drive and Pwllheli and Abersoch each within 15. Along the peninsula, recommendations include Porth Neigwl or Hell’s Mouth (15 minutes); the National Trust managed Porthdinllaen and its Ty Coch Inn (also 15 minutes), and the sands of Aberdaron and Porth Oer, both 25 minutes away. For families, there’s the Amgueddfa Forwrol Llyn Maritime Museum at Nefyn (10 minutes), rabbit farm or paintballing at Llanystumdwy (20 minutes) and go-karting, archery, wakeboarding and Segway riding at Glasfryn Parc, also within 20 minutes’ drive. History fans have the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw and Porth y Swnt, 15 and 25 minutes away, or the Iron Age hillfort of Garn Boduan, overlooking Nefyn within 10 minutes.
