Camping du Château de Leychoisier

喜欢: Woodland setting. Plenty of hot water in showers.

不喜欢: Stuck in woodland setting as gates locked at 19.00 so you can't get to local bars and restaurants. Pool slightly cloudy, first time ever in France or Spain. Showers need updating with proper lighting. No escape route marked/lit or night lighting.

喜欢: The surrounding area, the facilities and location. We had a woodland pitch so shady and full of wildlife. The sanitary block was clean and well kept, the walk up was lovely. The grounds well kept and the play area fir the children looked lovely. On-site restaurant and bar was a bonus. Close to the motorway so not too far off our route. Warmly greeted even at our parish arrival (7pm), the chap was lovely and welcoming.

不喜欢: Only the lighting……. There are no lights leading to the sanitary block, so we stumbled about a bit using our phone torches. But this is a minor problem in a gorgeous setting.

喜欢: Loved this peaceful site with a beautiful castle, also had a lovely meal in the restaurant

不喜欢: Toilets and showers a little tired but really fine. The only thing I really didn’t like was when I showered my mum in the accessible toilet there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke - I presume someone was smoking in the room next door, it was really horrible in the confined space

喜欢: Pitch was very nice and shady on a hot day. Toilets and showers ok. Didn’t use any of the restaurants.

不喜欢: No site map to show where we could empty any of our tanks.

喜欢: J’ai beaucoup aimé la tranquillité et le paysage du camping. Les emplacements sont grands et isolé, j’adore

不喜欢: Je suis malheureusement allergique au sapin, arbre très présent dans le camping. Je suis donc tombé malade très rapidement .

喜欢: Spacious site, good location for stop over mid way in France

不喜欢: The site manager initially welcoming but when asked other questions after booking in he was more interested in saying it was his down time

喜欢: This is a beautiful quant campsite. The pool is nice. There's a restaurant on site for dinner

不喜欢: The is no lake at the campsite. We chose this campsite so my son could fish. We were robbed during the night. Our tent was slashed with a knife and our mountain bike was robbed. Many other campers were robbed too. Campervans, caravans and tents were burgled. The police arrived the next day and took statements. We were lucky because some campers found our bike in the next village and returned it to the campsite. Others were not so lucky. Dinner at the restaurant took2 and half hours to be served. Not ideal with kids but the ambience was nice so I didn't mind waiting.

喜欢: Location in woods and hills, Château, lake, restaurant, pool, friendly staff, spacious pitch, plenty of showers, proximity to Limoges

不喜欢: Nothing
