If two streams aren't enough, Camping Le Moulin has direct access to a river too. As well as quite a lot of ground to wander: this peaceful and mighty pretty place covers 12 hectares of a 16th-century property estate, with fields and forests stretching all around. Deep in the French countryside but with easy access to amenities and attractions (like a trout fishing pond and the Garonne cycling route within a kilometre), Le Moulin is a splendid spot for families who like getting out and about. Its Haute-Garonne department setting between Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrénées is just north of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park for whitewater rafting, paragliding, hiking and horse riding; less headily, Aqualudia waterpark is within 35 minutes. Outdoor days very much await on site as well: take a look at the pics to see the huge array of leisurely pursuits to get stuck into. There's a pool and a paddling pool with slides and a big sunbathing terrace alongside, a tennis court for free use, bikes to rent and canoe trips to tackle (extra charges apply), and archery sessions – and massages – available in July and August. Summer also sees regular entertainment including dance nights and live music. Kids have a playground, trampoline and bouncy castle to bounce around at, a miniature farm with critters including donkeys to meet, and a summer club packed with activities and crafts. A well-equipped toy room is indoors, where all toys are free to use. Just off site, local village Martres-Tolosane is a kilometre and a half away. Three supermarkets, a petrol station and an off-licence, as well as a pool with lessons and aqua gym are within a couple of kilometres: ask the team for details.

We really enjoyed our stay, the swimming pool was amazing, the kids spent all the time in the water which was warm just right. The slides were also great. The campsite had a brilliant entertainment programm. A lot of sport activities available, play area for small kids, however a lot of toys were broken. In the evening everthing were beautifuly and cosy lit up The first hour of wifi was free, then for extra charge. Nice clean facilities including fridge, microwave, washing machine ChatGPT I had a fantastic one-night stay at this campsite! The highlight was definitely the amazing swimming pool that the kids couldn't get enough of; the water was warm and just perfect. The slides added an extra layer of fun. The entertainment program was top-notch, with a variety of sports activities and a play area for the little ones, although some toys were unfortunately broken. The evening ambiance with beautiful lighting was truly charming. The clean facilities, including the fridge, microwave, and washing machine, were quite convenient. It was a bit of a letdown that the Wi-Fi was free for only the first hour, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Familiärer Flair, gute Küche und nettes Begleitprogramm auch für Kinder verschiedener Altersgruppen. Abends durften wir kubanischer Livemusik zuhören. Der Platz steht bei uns auf der Wiederkommen-Liste!

不喜欢: WLAN war instabil. Nächste Schnell-Ladestationen für e-Autos ca. 30 Kilometer entfernt. Wäre schön, wenn es auf dem Campingplatz eine 11 oder 22 KW-Ladestationen gäbe. Dann könnte über Nacht das Autonachgeladen werden.

The site is located between Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrénées. On the A64, take exits 21 or 22 and follow the directions for Martres-Tolsane. When you reach the main roundabout (with the church in the centre), follow the site's signposts for about 2 kilometres.

The friendly team can point you in the direction of most places you might want to get to nearby, as well as share tips on the best of stuff to see and do. One such destination could be Cazères, 15 minutes' drive away, with scenic views over the Garonne from its bridge (visit at night to see it all lit up), or Salies du Salat (20 minutes), a spa town that's also home to a casino and a golf course. For city days, it's 50 minutes from the site to Toulouse, home the Place du Capitole palace, natural history museum and the Cité de l’espace for astronomy aficionados. Horse riding is available four kilometres away.
