喜欢: The site was beautifully located on the banks of the river Vienne. The mangers /owners were very friendly and helpful. The pitches were a good size.

不喜欢: The electrical leads being driven over as they were connected to points some distance away. The position of the toilets immediately adjacent to the washing up sinks.

喜欢: This has to be one of the best camp sites we’ve been to. It’s incredibly well organised, extremely clean and great size pitches. They offer free kayaking on the Vienne and bike riding. Also don’t miss out on the amazing pizzas that are cooked freshly most nights! There are a couple of different shower blocks, again both and clean and easily accessible. We had 2 children with us and this site was perfect for them. There’s a small play park and a great beach on the river. It’s only a 5 minute walk into Confolens, so ideally suited for an evening walk and dinner. The only thing to look out for is the bird droppings! Most pitches are under a tree or two, so just make sure you allow an extra 20 minutes for wiping them off. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting the site.

喜欢: Beautiful location on the banks of La Vienne, with lounging chairs, picnic tables and small tables provided to make best use of thr position. Very easy to find - off the (pretty quiet) main road, just before Confolens if travelling south. The hosts could not have been nicer! Top service, very attentive and helpful. Also made excellent take away steak hachè :) I would stay here again.

喜欢: Warm welcome. Nice shady spacious pitches some on river bank. Plenty of toilets and showers etc. Small shop. Snack bar. Free games and canoeing. Less than ten minute walk into lovely Confolens.

喜欢: The owners have worked so hard to make this site amazing. Beautiful location by side of the river. Free kayaks , fishing gear and bikes to use . Lovely touches such as access to deck chairs , games , books and magazines . There is a bit of sand where you can sit or enter the river . It was safe enough for families and the owner even clears that part of weeds so it’s easier to paddle ! Short walk into Confolens with beautiful old buildings and bridges and and shops and eateries and bars . There was also a food truck on site selling pizzas and burgers. The owners were constantly busy keeping the site beautiful.

喜欢: Riverside campsite on the edge of the town of confolens. All the facilities you would expect and very nice people running the site. Virginie and Joseph. They prepare food from their own van and I had a very good paella one night. They are proudly Basque. Virgine gave me a good tip for an excellent restaurant a few kilometers out of town. Many of the campers were passing through and only staying one night, the site and the surrounding countryside deserves a longer stay.
