This Sicilian site is surely well named. For Sporting Club Village, on the western edge of this excellent isle near Mazara del Vallo, has sporty stuff on site to keep all ages competitively occupied for days… and its coastal setting a few hundred metres from the beach means that off-site adventuring in and out of the water is a cinch to sort too. Those sporty options on site first: this excellently-equipped Trapani province park is home to a semi-Olympic-sized – and very handsome; see pics – swimming pool for those who take their swimming seriously (and with plenty of room for gentle floating for those who don’t). There’s a pool for the kids too, alongside a tennis court, a multisports area for basketball, volleyball and tennis, a football field and areas for miniature golf, table football and ping pong. Not enough action for you? Sports tournaments are organised regularly for guests – as is regular entertainment and a kids’ club for when you want to take things down a notch. And then? Make your speedy way to the Sporting Club Village restaurant for a wide range of Sicilian dishes (you may have heard that the Sicilians are good at food), or to the pizzeria and then the bar.

喜欢: Molto bello e curato l'ambiente intorno alle 2 piscine con l'acqua molto pulita e tanto verde. Appena sufficiente l'animazione visto la fine stagione. Cordiale il servizio.

不喜欢: Le mobil home con terrazzino essenziali ma il punteggio negativo è dato dall'odore nauseante proveniente dall'addiacente fiume e dal vano doccia. Sollecitato più volte la mancanza d'acqua calda ma problema mai risolto.

喜欢: l’unica cosa buona quel povero personale di animazione e di manutenzione che ogni gg si faceva in quattro per sopperire a quello che mancava cioè a tutto….!!! In poche parole assolutamente da non rifare

不喜欢: segreteria assente non rispondono ne al telefono ne alle email ed erano almeno in 5, struttura vecchissima tutto da rifare…!!!

喜欢: In linea di massima tutto di buon livello. Ancora in fase di sistemazione ma già usufruibile. Personale molto gentile, bella la zona piscina e abbastanza puliti i servizi.

不喜欢: Manca un minimarket e i prezzi del ristorante e del bar sono eccessivi. Animazione migliorabile.

不喜欢: L'emplacement, les prises compteur sont sur un bloqué donc avoir rallonge et adapter car rien n'est fourni, les travaux à 7h du matin bruyant à côté des tentes

Marina 2 间卧室 固定式大篷车

喜欢: The park was small but full of atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the on site restaurant served lovely pizza at a good price! Improvements were being made during our stay eg new golf area and football astro. These were completed in stages with no impact on visitors or facilities available.

不喜欢: The static accomodation was a little tired, but was all in good order. It would have been useful to have information provided in the accomodation or centrally about the park/opening times etc to save bothering reception. But they were happy to help.

You could stick close to home for the whole of your Sicilian seaside hol, getting active on site or lounging on the beach, but there’s a good range of stuff to see and do within easy day trip distance from your coastal setting. Much closer to base, the ancient town of Mazara del Vallo is only a minute’s amble away. Around the island, start off at Marsala, 30 minutes’ drive away, to explore its Stagnone Lagoon, the Phoenician centre on Motya island, the 17th-century cathedral (and organ with over 4,000 pipes) and the town’s famed wine. In the opposite direction 35 minutes from the site, potter among ruins including the Temple of Hera at Selinunte, an ancient Greek settlement that was once one of the most important in the region; the acropolis here is a must-see. Other island options include the Stagnone Nature Reserve, 45 minutes away just past Marsala; the Saline della Laguna marshes and saltpans (45 minutes); and a trip to province capital Trapani (an hour), to browse its old sights and access the Egadi islands (a couple of hours away by boat). Boat trips, diving excursions, farm visits, wine tasting tours and quad bike rental are all available in the region too: the Sporting Club Village team can help to arrange trips from the site.
