Camping Lacona Pineta

To the beach and to the Elba coastline: Camping Lacona Pineta is in a handy setting between Capo Stella and Capo Fonza, minutes from Lacona's gorgeous 1.2km sandy beach backed by dunes strewn with wildflowers including yellow tulips and Carolina spiderlilies. Sailing, diving, waterskiing and other watersports are all available in the area. Chiessi, on the west side of Elba, is surrounded by rocks and cliffs and is a top island pick for windsurfers. For days in town, a 10-minute drive will have you at Elba's main urban centres: Capoliveri, Porto Azzurro, Portoferraio and Marina di Campo.
