Camping Montsant Park

Ask the helpful team for tips on local adventures of caving, paragliding and via ferrata trails, or on where to track down the regional wine or the famed Priorat olive oil (hint: fairly close by for both). Cultural adventurers have a UNESCO World Heritage Site within easy day trip distance: the Poblet Monastery or Royal Abbey of Santa Maria de Poblet (35 minutes' drive), spectacularly set at the foot of the Prades mountains and one of the biggest Cistercian monasteries in Spain. Another ye olde option around the same distance from Camping Montsant Park is the monastery of Scala Dei, the first Carthusian monastery on the Iberian peninsula and these days a must-see. Adventures of a different sort can be had at PortAventura World, 55 minutes' drive south on the coast just outside Tarragona: with two theme parks, a waterpark and shows and events aplenty, this one should keep you merrily occupied for quite some time.
