Hurrah, it's Benidorm! And hurrah, it's a family-friendly and family-focused Benidorm site at Camping Armanello, a modern site a short stroll from the white sands and clear waters of Benidorm's Levante beach. Because of its prime position near Levante beach, Armanello is in a top spot for watersports and other action in the area such as waterskiing, jetskiing and kitesurfing, and is also within easy reach of the region's five famed nearby theme parks. (But as it's Benidorm, you might just want to steer straight into town for an enormous cocktail or two...) All is modern and well maintained on site: the excellent facilities include a pool and a paddling pool, a restaurant, a bar, a mini market and connection for satellite TV. There's an underground games room, The Cube, with a big screen showing football and other big sporting events, as well as karaoke nights, themed nights and other entertainment organised by the site team. The site also has toilet blocks with free hot water, washing-up facilities and a launderette.

喜欢: Sehr freundliches Personal. Sanitäre Anlagen sehr sauber und sehr heisses Wasser. Ganze Anlage wirkt gepflegt. Essen im Restaurant sehr gut mit grosser Auswahl.

不喜欢: Schade gibt es im Geschäft kein Gemüse und Obst zu kaufen. Vlt ist es aber weil noch nicht Saison ist.

喜欢: Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind sauber und die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt. Die Stellplätze liegen im Schatten. Ist trotz der Partymeile Benidorm leise, da weit zum Strand und zur Partymeile. Zum Baden am Strand unbedingt den Nachbarort „la vila Joiosa“ fahren ein traumhafter Ort zum Baden und Essen gehen.

不喜欢: Der weite Weg zum Strand ist sehr nervig( ca. 1,5 km) vorbei an einer Straße mit sehr viel Müll am Straßenrand ( auch der Gestank ). Dann die große Partymeile Benidorm ( muss man mögen ) mit den Hochhäusern. Ein voller überlaufener und ungepflegter Sandstrand. Auf dem Platz ist Strom optional (35 €) für eine Woche.

喜欢: La amabilidad del personal.Viajamos con 1 niño discapacitado y me dieron la tranquilidad de poderlo dejar con los animadores y que se relacionara con otros chicos,nos permitió a mi marido y a mi disfrutar también de las vacaciones.Me dió la sensación que aún estando en un camping había cierta privacidad.Es petfriend,tiene ducha y te puedes llevar a tu mascota por todos los sitios.

不喜欢: Las señoras de la limpieza no te dejan entrar por la mañana al baño mientras los lavan.Me tuve que recorrer el camping para literalmente para encontrar otro WC.

喜欢: Nice campsite close to Benidorm, clean toilet block and hot water. Pools look ok but we didn’t go in them. All in all a good campsite.

不喜欢: Sorry that booking through pitchup.com you Don’t get discount with ACSI card. Don’t make the same mistake as me use Armanello website!!

喜欢: Friendliness of others staying on site. Number of showers and toilets. Location to town. Level pitch.

不喜欢: Toilets & showers could have been cleaned more regularly. Quite a noisy site with arrivals allowed till midnight and removals in the early hours of the morning! Poor Wi-Fi connection

喜欢: General camp vibe. Pools were ok, probably a better site to visit in high season as much of the camp was closed. Good restaurant, shop not so good.staff very pleasant. Facilities excellent and right price for the pitch

喜欢: Location was good; 20 minute walk to Levante beach. Easy to reach from the AP7 motorway (which is now free from Jonquera to Alicante!) Good sized pitch with a sun shade covering it. The restaurant looked good, although we didn't use it. Helpful reception staff. Very modern and clean sanitary facilities. Two small swimming pools, good for a dip in the heat!

不喜欢: Nothing really, although only one person on each pitch was allowed wifi access (this didn't really bother us as we both have contracts that we can use in Europe as no additional cost, and we both have large data packages)

By car: On the N-332 take the exit signposted Platja de Llevant - up to the km 124 marker. At the roundabout take the third exit (BP petrol station) and follow the directions for discotecas (clubs). Continue for 200m up to the campsite. We are in front of the ITV garage. By train: Benidorm train station By plane: Alicante airport

The watersports, swimming and sunbathing of Levante beach are all a short stroll away – and then after a few days you could investigate the other fab beach options in the area like the sands at Poniente, over three kilometres long and with a slightly more relaxed vibe. Benidorm has a good family-friendly approach these days, so if you're here with the kids, aim to get to all five of the local theme /water parks: Mundomar and Aqualandia are both within 10 minutes' walk, and Terra Mitica, Terra Natura and Aqua Natura are a short drive away. Also for a quieter day out, take a boat from town to Benidorm Island, aka Peacock Island, to see its colourful inhabitants. But as the Camping Armanello team points out, Benidorm is also famed for its 365 days of fiesta, so also take time to get out and about to the many, many festivals, nightclubs, bars and parties – cheers.
