  • Small family-run park on a 200-acre dairy farm with stunning views
  • In Wrelton, a five-minute drive from Pickering and Sinnington
  • Walks and cycles around the North York Moors straight from the site
Centrally located, easy to access and with far-reaching views over 200 acres of fields – Keld Knowle Farm Holidays is a convenient and scenic site for ticking off the top attractions of North Yorkshire. This working dairy farm is in Wrelton on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, between the pretty villages of Sinnington and Pickering (five minutes’ drive). Wanders in dramatic landscapes can certainly be had around here, as you can head off on ambles or cycle rides right from the gates; one of the area’s best routes is a day-long journey through woods and fields with stop-offs at local watering holes along the way. Don’t mind driving? Destinations within 10 minutes by car include Pickering Castle, the North York Moors Steam Railway and Beck Isle Museum. Horse riding is available close to the park too if you’d rather trot through the countryside. Tuckered out after spending hours out in the open air? Return to the farm and settle in to watch the cows and tractors at work (safe in the knowledge you won’t be asked to give anyone a hand…). This family-friendly site also does the basics right with stone roads for smooth driving, handy electric hook-ups, a smart bathroom block with underfloor heating, and easy access to drinking water. A pub is in Wrelton for eats, and the village also has a bus stop and a play area; a well-serviced shop and petrol station are a couple of miles away in Middleton. Meanwhile, on Tuesday and Saturday evenings in high season, a pizza oven is on site serving up stone-baked treats.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Peaceful and quiet. Very clean toilets and showers on site. Only change I'd make is maybes a vending machine in the block of toilets? Would profit the owners as well as benefit the site users, daft things like pop and crisps perhaps? Could even do a vending machine for the basic toiletries? Fresh eggs are available,

Disliked: Nothing

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: The showers and toilet were really clean and modern. Great idea to have a notice board asking for good ideas from people who have been to a great places. The pitches were OK, and gravel was padded down so the gravel wasn't loose. There are water stations in the middle of 2 pitches this was brilliant.

Disliked: The only thing I would say is that the service area wasn't the best, but enough.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: What an absolute gem of a site. Nicely spaced hardstanding pitches with grass areas in between and an excellent toilet/shower block which was spotlessly clean - it was really nice to have large shower cubicles where the things you want to stay dry actually do. The owner, a really friendly lady, came and had a chat with us after we'd parked up to make sure we were happy with where everything was. The site is on a working farm and it was nice to wake up to hear the cows in the morning, and the views across the countryside from the pitches are superb. Absolutely first class place to stay.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Excellent facilities. Friendly and informative owners. Working farm, loved seeing the cows being milked through the viewing window and the baby calves. Spotless site on a working farm. Toilets and shower facilities immaculate and to a very high standard, best we have ever seen to date. Washing up area was really handy, a great addition. Well spaced hard standing pitches. Beautiful surroundings, great accessible location. We will definitely return.

Disliked: Having to leave- we would have loved to have stayed for longer.
