Camping Padimadour

Hiking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and canoeing are all popular activities on or around the Dordogne and the Lot rivers and valleys. The Lot region has some beautiful towns to visit, including Rocamadour (4km), Cahors (30km), Figeac (35km), Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (25km), Autoire (20km) and Loubressac (20km). Natural attractions include the Pech Merle Cave (20km), Lacave Caves (7km), Merveilles Prehistoric Cave (5km) and Padirac Cave (15km). There are also man-made attractions such as the Moulin de Cougnaguet (4km), the Moulin du Saut (8km) and the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux (30km). The village of Rocamadour produces its own goat's cheese, and you can also sample truffles, foie gras, lamb and Cahors Malbec wine at markets and producers around the region. Family attractions nearby include the Monkey Forest (5km), Le Rocher des Aigles bird park (4km), Durandal medieval and horse show (3km), Gramat animal park (12km), Reptiland (15km) and the Martel steam train (20km).
