The site is a mile from the Monsal Trail, a cycling route that passes through the tunnels of an old railway line. It also sells its own fresh farm produce, so it’s likely that any firepit food you rustle up on site will be particularly fresh and tasty. With views over Miller’s Dale, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, you might want to hold off closing your eyes too soon in case you miss any passing wildlife or birds gliding by.
